Our connection to horses spans centuries
There's a special bond between horse and human that spans centuries and still exists today.
Busy schedules, limited time and automatic routines have affected that connection. Mindfully shifting our attention to the present moment re-establishes and strengthens this dynamic relationship between horse and human. In that moment a powerful healing is organically facilitated.
Through equine facilitated exercises on the ground and under saddle, discussion, journaling, breathing and visualization you will tap into one of the greatest resources available - your own body. Here you and your equine partner experience a safe space to feel the powerful impact of this ancient wisdom come to life through your connection with self.
Lessons are designed for established equestrians who wish to enhance their communication skills, become more familiar with the subtleties of non-verbal communication on the ground and under saddle, and delve deeper into the dynamic relationship between horse and rider.
What you will experience:
- your family, friends, co-workers (and the list goes on…)
Each lesson begins with discussion and moves into experiential exercises with your horse. I will work together with you and your trainer to provide the optimal experience for horse and rider. At the end of your lesson we take time to integrate the information so you can effectively apply what you learned on your own and/or with your trainer.
Please note - I am NOT a trainer and will not be instructing you on your riding techniques.

"I recommend Tracie’s workshop with my highest regard.
Once you immerse yourself in your most personal and intuitive thinking, Tracie guides you towards recognizing your emotional communication patterns and how your horse recognizes and responds to your style. You’ll work with your horse both on the ground and under saddle to establish communication, then you’ll reach deeper into learning your horse’s communication back to you – the foundation of a solid connection. The rewards of your efforts are realized when your horse looks at you with a sense of trust and comradery. Enjoy these discoveries."

"When I was offered the opportunity to take Tracie's clinic, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, it was a wonderful two days of self discovery, learning, and getting to know myself and my horse a little better. I came away with several very valuable, and habit-forming tools that I'm already integrating into my daily routine to help me be more present in my life out of the saddle too."
